Certified HomeFurnishings.com Retailer Program Helps Consumers Find Trustworthy Furniture Retailers
HIGH POINT, NC. – Many consumers want to purchase home furnishings but are not sure where to shop. They want a home furnishings retailer that they can trust, will help them with their decisions and one that will stand behind the furniture that they sell. The National Home Furnishings Association (NHFA) is introducing the Certified HomeFurnishings.com Retailer Program to help consumers choose the best retailer to meet their shopping needs.
“This superior rating is not just given to any retailer,” stated NHFA chairman, Doug Kays. “Retailers must meet certain criteria like having a physical showroom as opposed to an internet only store and having a written consumer rights and guarantee policy along with a way to resolve disputes.”
Consumers can find Certified HomeFurnishings.com Retailers through NHFA’s consumer web portal, HomeFurnishings.com, which will launch in the first quarter of 2010. This site will not only direct consumers to trusted retailers in their area but is also a source of updated decorating ideas and advice along with design tools and room planners, educational videos, buying guides and much more.
Retailers with the Certified HomeFurnishings.com Retailer distinction will proudly display the Certified HomeFurnishings.com Retailer logo in their window and throughout their store to reassure consumers that they can buy with confidence.
